Our keyboard much more older than computer. It was earlier used in Typewriters started in 1870's. A traditional US keyboard consist of 101 keys and the windows keyboard consist 104 keys. The keys on keyboard are placed in such a style that they according to usage.

- Shortest spacebar is found in Japan because Japanese need to switch languages between latin/roman letters
2.QWERTY style keyboard was designed in 1872 by "Christopher Sholes"
3.Keyboards have more germs than your Toilet seat. A study conducted by UK scientist found your keyboard is much more hazardous than your toilet seat.
4.Pause/Break, Insert, SysRq are some most unused keys on Keyboard.
5.Scroll Lock is also most unused key on keyboard Its supposed to lock page from scrolling.
6.The famous CTRL+ALT+DEL was designed by IBM. Because these keys can be hold all three
by one hand.
7.Hindi Keyboard is one of the most complicated Keyboard in World it consist multiple letters on a single key.
8.TYPEWRITER is the longest word that can be typed by only using TOP row.
9.Keyboards commands are processed faster than mouse commands
10.Keystrokes are tracked by many hackers to know password which can be done by Keyloggers.
11.There are more efficient keyboard than QWERTY but they are not recognised by world so far.
12.Have you ever noticed highlighted horizontal lines on F and J they are basically to place your hands on keys.
13.Every second spacebar is hitted 60,00,000 times.
14.Do you know 10000 words typed are equal to 1 mile travelled by Fingers.
15.World record for typing A-Z on a keyboard is 1.36 Seconds.
16.On an average a professional typist type 56% percent of time with its left hand.

They should dump qwerty it only exists to stop keys on old typewriters from jamming, it should abcd
