Zoomcar associate program in India -A honest review
Zoomcar a self driving car company started its operation in India in many cities.Many get attracted towards its business scheme.I am also not a exception.
I have associated my car with this company for business purpose and to have some extra money.But things gone in reverse direction,overall I have faced a loss in one year.Lets try to understand it how.....
Only on saturday ,sunday and some national holidays one can earn profit ,others day its profit margin is very low.
Whatever you earn 25% of amount is zoomcar share
First lets talk about saturday and sunday.Suppose you got your car booked for Rs 2000/
Total amount =Rs 2000/-
Your share = Rs 1500 (75%) & Zoomcar share Rs 500(25%)
In this Rs 1500 you have to bear for fuel cost so effectively you will get something around Rs 700 half of amount after deducting fuel cost roughly no matter what is mileage of your car
So your profit on saturday and sunday comes out to be Rs 700/-
Similarly on others day booking amount is low something in the range of 1000 for a day.After deducting fuel cost and zoomcar share your profit roughly comes out to be Rs 300/-
So assuming 30 days in a month.Lets calculate
4 Sat & 4 Sun Total Profit --- Rs 700 X 8 (days)
---- Rs 5600
On 22 others day Profit --- Rs 300 X 22 (days)
---- Rs 6600
Total Profit In a month ----- Rs 5600+6600
= Rs 12200/-
Profit in 12 months = Rs 12200 X 12
= Rs 146400/-
Now You have to bear maintenance cost in this one year and insurance cost So finally
Profit = Rs 146400-(insurance cost)-(maintenance cost minimum 3 times)
=Rs 146400-60000(they will say you for tata aig insurance)- 12000(one time maintenance)X3
= Rs 146400-60000-36000
=Rs 146400-96000
=Rs 50400/-
Now you have to also manage for wear and tear of your tyre
So LASTLY YOUR PROFIT = Rs(50400-30000)
=Rs 20400/-
Now you can see you are running your car for just 20000 Rs profit in one year with lots of mental tension and other things.So in my opinion never associate your car with zoomcar. What is your opinion ?
