Once upon a time there was a shepherd boy in a village on the outskirts of a forest. Every day he was herding sheep in the pasture away from the village near the forest. It was not far from his village. The shepherd was a naughty boy and he liked nosy to others people lives.

One day he felt very boring and he wanted to make a fun with the villagers. Suddenly, he had a bad idea to lie to the villagers. Then he began to shout, " wolf! wolf! Help! Help! Please … please help me! The wolf is carrying away a lamb." The villagers heard his cry and immediately ran to help him to save Sheep. But when they arrived, they found no wolf there. The boy started laughing heartily to the villagers. The cunning boy fooled the villagers. So, the villagers went away.

Next day, the shepherd boy again played the same trick. He cried out louder than ever, "wolf! wolf! Help! Help! Please … please … help me!" Villagers back rushing to help him and asked, "Where is the wolf ?" Then the shepherd boy begin to laugh and say that he only made fun with them. The shepherd boy played the trick for quite a number of times in the next few days. The villagers came again to help him but found no wolf there. At last the annoyed villagers went away saying, "If the rascal cries out again, we won’t go for his help."

At last actually a wolf really fell upon the sheep and began to kill his sheep. The shepherd boy was so scared and immediately cried loudly "wolf! wolf! Help! Help! Please … please … help me! A wolf is in my sheep! Come and help me!" The villagers heard the cries of the shepherd boy but they thought that the boy was playing mischief again. So they remained silent in the village to continue their work. No one came to help him. The wolf feasted on the sheep and killed many. At last, it fell upon the boy and tore him into pieces.

One day he felt very boring and he wanted to make a fun with the pack (Group of wolves). Then wolf began to shout, " sheep! sheep! Please … please come quickly !" The pack (Group of wolves) heard his cry and immediately came running and asked, "Where is the sheep?". The wolf laughed and replied "It was just a fun."

Next day, the wolf again repeated the trick. wolf screamed louder than ever, "there are sheep ….sheep…. Please … please come quickly !" when they arrived, the wolf started laughing heartily to the pack (Group of wolves). At last the annoyed wolf leader went away saying, "If the rascal cries out again, we won’t respond him."

But one day the wolf found a flock of sheep near the forest. The wolf cried loudly, " there are sheep ….sheep…. Please … please come quickly !" The pack (Group of wolves) heard him but they thought that the wolf was playing mischief again. So they remained silent in the forest to continue their work. The wolf feasted on the sheep and finally killed the shepherd.

We learnt that the habit of lying can be dangerous and sometimes profitable too.
