If you currently have cryptocurrencies and just want to change your exchange, the new exchange must accept deposits of cryptocurrencies. Some exchanges only do Fiat-to-crypto and those exchanges are then not available to you.

2.Is it important for you that your exchange accepts credit card deposits? (Yes/No)

I would personally steer clear of buying cryptos with credit cards but if you want to do that, all exchanges do not offer that option.

Many exchanges prohibit US-investors.

Well to me there are many other questions which come to a persons mind while looking at the exchanges

1. Volume ---- zebpay is king then koinex> bitbns >wazirx

2. Deposit options ---- in this department so many other exchanges have taken up lead with koinex , wazirx having instant deposit options via upi not to say zebpay doesn't have an option of net banking but then of course why pay any fee if you can do it for free . BITBNS is known for its deposit related issues\

3. Withdrawal ----- area where almost all exchanges are more or less equally lagging instant withdrawal system now is very rarely seen except for peer to peer exchanges with time lag of 1-3 working days being common.
   add to this the rbi ban decision one wonders what next???

4.Customer support --- no instant telegram support by zebpay but makes up for it by efficient problem solving through email support . In this regard bitbns and koinex are better

5.Crypto assets available for trading- here koinex, wazir x and bitbns take lead over zebpay but whats the point of so many coins but so less volume
