20 years after Zinedine Zidane inspired Les Bleus to their first World Cup title, France have once again been crowned as the champion of the world after defeating Croatia 4-2 in a dramatic final at Moscow. An unlucky own-goal from Mario Mandzukic set the ball rolling for France. Croatia did manage to equalize through Ivan Perisic, but just 10 minutes later, the winger gave away a penalty for Antoine Greizmann to restore the lead. Croatia struggled to keep up with the French side after that, and it ended up being an easy win for the men in blue.
