"The Big Bang Theory" series will be ending after a series of 12 seasons
Hello Steemians,
The Big Bang Theory is an American Television Sitcom created by Chuck Lorre and Bill Prady, both of whom serve as executive producers on the series, along with Steven Molaro. All three also serve as head writers. The show premiered on CBS on September 24, 2007. In March 2017, the series was renewed for two additional seasons, bringing its total to twelve, and running through the 2018–19 television season. The eleventh season premiered on September 25, 2017.
The Big Bang Theory received mixed reviews from critics throughout its first season, but reception was more favorable in the second and third seasons. Later seasons saw a return to a lukewarm reception, with the show being criticised for a decline in comedic quality. Despite the mixed reviews, seven seasons of the show have ranked within the top ten of the final television season ratings; ultimately reaching the no. 1 spot in its eleventh season.
The show is filmed in front of a live audience and is produced by Warner Bros. Television and Chuck Lorre Productions.
On Wednesday, Warner Bros. Television and CBS announced that The Big Bang Theory will end in May 2019, after 12 seasons. It will be the longest running multi-camera TV series in history with 279 episodes. The series has received 52 Emmy Nominations, winning 10 times.
The final season will premiere on September 24.

I have just started rewatching it..
It is a good show but I think they have gone too far. It should have ended a long time ago..
It's unbelievable it has been 12 seasons - and thereby 12 years?! Wow.
