Arabian cuisine in Monterrey Mexico
Who doesn't like an Arabian Cuisine? Personally, I love it so much. The first time I tried an Arabian Cuisine was when I was in Dundee, Scotland, a long time ago. There was a Lebanese restaurant near the city center, but me and my husband are living in Mexico right now and we have not eaten Arabian food for 2 years now. We thought it would be rare to find an Arabian restaurant here in Mexico. So, about 2 weeks ago we decided to look for one on Google and guess what? We found some Arabian restaurants recommended by Google. We picked "Yala Comida Arabe restaurant" because the location is the nearest from our home. We ordered Uber and arrived at Yala 25 minutes later. We looked at the menu and they have varieties offer. We were offered:
- 2 Plato surtido- $110 MXN pesos per plate ( looked at the picture )
- 2 plates Falafel - $65 MXN Pesos per plate ( 5 pieces falafel in one plate )
- 2 of Beef Kebab - $115 MXN Pesos
- 2 of Chicken Shawarma - $115 MXN Pesos
- 4 Baklawa - $25 MXN Pesos per piece
- 2 plates wara ainab (vine leaves) - $65 MXN Peso ( 5 pieces wara ainab in one plate )
The price isn't really cheap, the place was unattractive, very small and wasn't convincing for the price we had to pay. On the other hand, the food was so tasty and delicious compared to the restaurant in Scotland. The falafel is crunchy, and my most favorite is the sweets: the baklawa - hmmmm yummiiii.
Next time we will just order by using the delivery service instead of going to eat there. After all, sometimes it is better to eat at home while watching tv.
hmmm delicious!
Thank you it is....
Have never eaten anything tastier in my life than Arabian food. Thumbs up.
