Mermaid top

A few days ago I made a steemit post titled: “ friends who swim together stay together “ and in that post my friend is wearing a homemade top. So I thought I’d make a post on how I did it!

Things you’ll need:
• old bra/swim top
• 2 lion paw shells
• fake seaweed
• 4’-2’6” decorative fish netting
•extra fabric
•E6000 glue
•fabric paint ( optional)

First I got an old bra and I painted it blue ( optional) then I took some fake seaweed and glued it on in the places I wanted.
I then I glued the lion paw shells on.
Once everything was set and dry I finished off my glueing extra fabric on the inside of the bra ( because modest is hottest) and glueing/ tying the netting on.

This top costed roughly $ 23 USD to make.
