Mene Monday Confessional: The Shocking Reason I Take A Mene Box Everywhere I Go
Today is my FAVORITE day of the week... Mene Monday!
On Mene Mondays, us Mene Maniacs like to show off our 24k Mene Jewelry and explain the meaningful stories or the “why” behind our ownership.
Mostly it is an exercise in community and sharing a common interest of precious metals stacking and jewelry gifting and receiving
Today I’m mixing it up by explaining why I bring a Mene Box EVERYWHERE I go:
My explanation is really quite simple....
It’s really difficult to get a quality photo of a piece of Mene jewelry AND capture the background of where I am sufficiently. The camera wants to focus on the beautiful details of the 24 karat gold or pure platinum:
The other main reason is that a lot of times I’m in a hurry when I’m out somewhere and good photos take a lot of time. It’s tough to set up a piece of super valuable jewelry and not drop it and risk loosing it.
Case in point...

Thats $3000 + in 24 karat gold jewelry being saved by a watery grave by a friend as I filmed.
It’s a lot easier for me just to get up a box with the brand and get a nice photo representing the background and what I am doing at the time:
Plus I have a MASSIVE number of boxes and if one falls off a cliff or into a volcano, I don’t sweat it.
If this happened to a piece of pure gold Mene jewelry the gold would still exist in one form or another... it just wouldn’t be mine anymore.
So I take photos like this instead:
My hope is that enough of these photos will get people interested in what is inside the box and why this nut job goldmatters is taking photos everywhere with it.

Well that makes perfect sense. You were luck to save them from the watery grave, although we both k ow gold doesn't rust.... Even in salt water.
The worst fear would have been losing them under the sand. I would have been straight there with my metal detector straight away.
