Memehub is in alpha and is not link to the steem blockchain yet, in order for the devs to test things out. You earn steem by proving you gained a certain amount of lulz ( the place holder token on memehub) and then the memehub account on steemit upvotes your comment. If you want to go in deph you should check out the latest posts on @memehub and write your questions there. Hope that helped :)
