I love a clean san diego #meme

The birds- a.k.a 'the motorized menace' - electric scooters -they have been w/ us since last spring- descending on us like some kind of a Hitchcockian nightmare - killing and maiming riders , harassing, and injuring pedestrians , and otherwise polluting and clogging our walkways- streets- boardwalks and all other right-of-way passages throughout our fair city. The city council keeps making more regulations against them (e.g. -reducing their speed by geofencing- messaging riders not to ride on sidewalks-etc . Instead of an outright ban- I just wonder how much their palms were greased to keep the shared vehicles in place, in our way. I know that future fatalities/injuries would be prevented if they were just banned. Our Mayor and the governor actually got the helmet law changed in California so smucks could ride the birds- limes-lyfts/etc them without head protection- It's almost like they are saying its ok to sacrifice these riders - for more profit. I guess you can call it 'economic externalities'- not cool at all- a race to the bottom' -is how some coin it, and I hasten to agree.

Plus, they are creepy- wherever I go in my #neighborhood- these things are there -staring at me- almost like they were surveilling me. Kinda gangstalkerish to be sure..... It's no wonder that the locals knock them all over- they suck and we want them to go back to Santa Monica-where they came from ( well probably made in china)
