Lets talk memes...
Hi Steemians,
Before I start, let me clarify what a meme is...
- an element of a culture or system of behavior passed from one individual to another by imitation or other non-genetic means.
- an image, video, piece of text, etc., typically humorous in nature, that is copied and spread rapidly by Internet users, often with slight variations.
To me it's something that's just there. I can't seem to escape them nor do I actively try to avoid them. However, I rarely ever participate in a meme. Some can be amusing while some can get rather annoying.
I don't have VR headset, but there are these these "Ugandan Knuckles" that has been taking over the VR Chat game and some people do find them annoying. From the videos I seen, I have to admit... they are overdoing it.
So guys, when is a meme overstayed it's welcome? Just write away your opinions and stand in all things meme. XD
Memes... I wish I could avoid them they are everywhere. Kind of irks me that people communicate through emojis and memes than having an in depth conversation not have a chuckle and just simply scratch at the surface. Maybe if I didn't see them as much I would tolerate them a bit more. -shrug-
