My First Steemit Meet Up.

It was on 02nd June 2018 just last Saturday when the meet up was scheduled. They had been organised before but i never showed up until this one.
It was just perfect timing. Being that i was finally free from the cages of lectures and course works, i felt there was no other excuse to give.

Also being that i had really taken a long holiday from doing anything to do with blogging on steemit, i always felt like i was giving up on it and from the bottomless bottom of my heart i was convicted it was not worth it.

I had other programs to take on but i made sure i reach the meet up point in time. I could not forgive myself anymore if i lost this opportunity too.

So there i reached. I was sure about only two people's faces but the rest were just images of my imagination or even fairy tales.

Honestly i quaked and panicked inside me of course. You know that dread of being in kind of crowds or being spotted with people you're meeting for the first time, you cant just relax.

A river of thoughts always gushes and sprouts out of nowhere, flowing through all the veins and vessels to ensure equal distribution of feelings. During such moments goose pimples feast my whole body. I experienced it that moment i stepped in.

Being that men dominated that day allow me say its easily comforting and relaxing some how not forgetting maximum security assurance, i mean being around men.

We shared alot. I personally learnt more about block chain technology, different apps like dtube, dlive, dsound, that can be accessed to keep on steeming, highlights about crypocurrency, how to make good quality posts including comments, not only withdrawing but also making different investments, involving myself in different contests, among others.

For the first time i felt really very helped. With every question being answered plus free consultations. People shared their achievements and it sounded like a joke but it was reality, some even pulled out evidence and also gave testimonies about their investments.
Allow me submit to you that their passion to take steemit deeper to another level was contagious.

Actually i realised that i could do this again. I was motivated to gather up my strength and start all over if necessary. I felt like i was actually reluctant yet this is an opportunity up for grabs with just investments of time. It was like a wake up call. Holidays from blogging are not bad but planning for them is also necessary.

Above all, i had fun after the discussions, i made friends, got to know people's real faces, and then my best moments of taking photos made the climax. Its always my bliss point and things to do with photos, even if am not in the moods, they will surely bring back that smile on my face.

Conclusively, am so grateful for the meeting, appreciating all who had a hand in organising and financing it. I think of it were not for this meet up, i would have become totally worn out and leave because i was actually losing focus.
But with this strong team here to encourage me and support me, am good to go.
