"Bangladesh has won these elections because of the government's role in empowering women, successive successes and international recognition of these achievements."
From January 1, 2019, CSW has been the member of 11 countries for four years. Bangladesh and Malaysia have been elected from Asia and Pacific region.

Bangladesh, Mongolia and Pakistan from this region have been elected to the UNICEF board meeting for three years from January 2015.

The Bangladesh mission says that being a member of the United Nations' board of the two organizations, Bangladesh can play an active role in its activities, fund management and its proper use.
