As what I have envisioned about Steemit: "Community will save Steemit from its discrepancy". And that's why we're doing fine in Cebu, Philippines.

It's good to meet new people with different personalities. But staying what you are and who you are makes you feel even better.

I never expected that there could be more of us there during the meet up. It was my first time to attend on an informal event. It was tiring yet a worthy promotion of steemit.

We have the coolest and most awesome community in Steemit

We really had fun talking and discussing about our things in steemit. Actually, we are just making good friends and connections with each other without even thinking that we are in steemit. It's like we've known each other before and on a very long time. Unfortunately, @juvyjabian wasn't there. Next time, I'll be meeting that great man, considering him as one of the founding pillars of Steemit Phils.

Sharing experiences was one of the best part, introducing ourselves and laughing at every time everybody pauses for a while.


A comprehensive and short orientation also was assigned to me for newcomers. We have Mr. Darryll, Mr. Ryan and 3 more people that I forgot the names. It will be in no time that they will be on steemit. I tackled about how Steemit works and some ideas how to start with steemit. Answering few questions from other Cebuano Steemians was also conducted.

Owww the food and place. It was indeed a vibrant place to have a meet-up of crazy people like them/us. It was so quite at first but later on, we thought that we own the whole cafe, everyone's shouting like we're on a market place. We ordered some food but @purepinay brought so much for us. Thanks Gilaine!

Plans, plans, plans. We discussed thoroughly about future plans for steemit here in Cebu. They opened up the topic about Bisdak-creating a community of people where promoting Bisdak dialect was to consider first. It was later then decided that they will be joining the @SteemPh.Cebu. Merging two communities as one and adding more Cebuano steemians in the near future. There will be also orientation being organized for cebuano workers or non-workers. A plan to make steemit a great way to initiate a charity foundation. There are too many to mention honestly, we're so glad that atlast we've gathered ourselves together and we're seeing that next meet-ups will happen soon with more steemians smiling.
