DAILY MUSE - MORNING MEDS
“In this world everything changes except good deeds and bad deeds; these follow you as the shadows follow the body.”
Our identity at any given moment is a composite of all we have been in the past. Some of our actions have made us wiser. Others haunt us because we didn’t put our best foot forward .
Acceptance of who we are, of our total self, is necessary for our emotional security. Shame for past actions keep us stuck. The best way we can make up for our past is by showing responsible behavior today.
How fortunate we are that each waking moment offers us opportunities to become our best possible selves.
Much of the troubles in the world today stem from ignorance. People are being kept in the dark and as a result no longer understand their individual purpose or that they have rights. They are being held in check by social conditioning, together with a determination to preserve an outdated, oppressive system, rather than face change.
