When I meditate the first practice on which I concentrate after having paid attention to my body, breath and mind, is the view of the wonderful things of nature. The splendor of the landscapes, fauna and flora that create and populate our planet Earth are perfect subjects for a truly magical journey through the imagination.

After flying in this magical world projected on the screen of deep consciousness i begin to thank Mother Nature, God and the whole Universe for what we have and for all forms of life that live here with us. Of course I also love to focus on the most important people of my life, always thanking the creation and hoping for their best wishes and a good life.

So the first part of my meditation usually focuses on “things” of nature that populate every corner of the Earth: polar bears and seals on ice sheets really white, flying eagles on the most majestic peaks, little monkeys jumping in the most green jungles, lions sly lying in the bush, sharks swimming nervous, groups of dolphins jumping and laughing.
And I also think about the best memories of the years spent with my cat (he lived 20 years coloring the transition between my adolescence and my maturity).

And then again thanks for the majesty of whales, for the mystery of the owl, I view frenzied ant colonies on a tree trunk in a rain forest, a mystical emerald beetle, a lucky swarm of ladybugs flying around me on the balcony of my house.
So what I try to celebrate in my intimate and magical inner journey is the whole set of animals and insects that inhabit our planet and irrefutably that are part of us, of our personality, our life, of millimeters, centimeters and kilometers draw our planet, here where we are to live and simultaneously share. How can we be so foolish today? Why are we so focused on performance that impoverish, on destructive rules and laws , on destructive business, losing miserably contact with this magical sight all around us?

Artic sea pupGetting to the point! In this article I would like to make you aware of the importance of respecting the balance of the cycle of life on our planet, respect for all life. Attention, as often emphasized i just can not be a “fundamentalist” in any area of my life, I have to respect every vision because I think that no one has the right to judge. However I do not feel in tune with any “guru” extremist, intolerant vegan, religious fanatics and all that is hostile toward different or innovative thoughts. So I am not here to say: “do not eat meat, not pound the ants or visit the zoo.

In any case, I think I can share the stories of my life, my mental “journeys”, my philosophies on the visible and invisible world, without trying to impose my thoughts. The imposition and indoctrination are not part of my new life path; fine philosophers, geniuses and thinkers abhor the impositions and had mostly tried to share insights and points of view. Then from the top of their lighting they proved to be immortal in the unlimited lifetime of humanity giving discoveries, innovations and philosophy.

I now perceive that my mission in life is to communicate, share, try my best to give comfort and courage in those who feel lost in this stressful and even too much competitive world. I would tell you that the magic is already all around us and that not all human beings, especially the most sensitive, are here on Earth to produce, compete and live as a cyborg.

Let us now reflect on the fact that feeding is natural, exploit animal and plant resources for our sustenance and survival is certainly lawful and practiced from the beginning of time; we could really say that being willed by who put us here to live together. But outside of this concrete and existential reasoning, we might call obvious, I also add that all this should be done with much more respect. We vanished the sensitivity until reaching the limits that could lead to a point of no return; the over-exploitation of entire plant and animal species, the poisoning of the environment in which we live and which are concatenated into a single, universal balance, this implies a dramatic risk of physical self-destruction but also ethical and spiritual.

As humans we should be the most evolved on Earth; are we not going to meet the alienation of a part of ourselves? Our mind and our character is a reflection of the infinite nuances and characteristics of the animals and of the dynamics of this world: we are in the peace of a cat purring, we are in fidelity and friendship of a dog, we are in the determination, the cynicism and the tactics of a fierce shark, we have the sweetness of the look of an Arctic fox or a raccoon. And yet we are hard-working like a colony of ants, we are in the art of tropical fish colors, we feed the mystery that hovers around the figure of a brilliant beetle or a hummingbird, unique in their shape.

I always liked to think that God and the laws of the infinite Universe does not take into account the “small” daily events here on planet Earth; maybe these unapproachable entity had other things to organize and orchestrate. So as we are taught the philosophy of Ying and Yang everything is balanced between good and evil, light and darkness, the good and the bad, here and now we can not imagine to make the earth as a paradise without injustice, pain and death. But one thing is certain, the universal laws are always seeking a balance in any case! In my opinion the secret of life and respect cosmic balance it ‘s all there.

That’s why I believe that we are expanding too many destructive feelings, negative works, without respecting death, intensive and unnatural farming, and even destruction of hectares and hectares of the world’s territory, massive pollution of gallons of water from rivers, lakes and oceans! Yes, all this can only lead to a bad future for mankind, whenever a species facing extinction or alas is effectively extinct is as if we we lose forever a part of our essence.
Whenever animals are over- exploited, were exterminated, they are slaughtered in serial systems for intensive production of meat, they try suffering and despair. All those negative feelings and pain that other living beings feel bounce back to us according to the most basic universal laws.

We eat and then digest all this despair, all the bewilderment of that animal raised in a few inches just to be prepared for slaughter. Another fact is to eat meat or meat products which have followed the natural existential chain ordained by nature. Who could blame an Aboriginal who kills an animal for food inside of his life in the forest? I think anyone, but we really blame our “evolved” system that is not just evolved, our death machines!

Every living thing, even plants harbors a soul that is alive, that emit vibrational waves and communicates on a certain frequency, which in its own way it interacts with the other inhabitants of the universe. I think that we need to live in a new age where the awareness and respect become the first convention to follow. We don’t need extremism that divides, we require love that takes the lives tied in all their forms, which hold together the universe.
