Peruvian Whistling Vessels

These amazing instruments are how I rang in the New Year. If you ever have an opportunity to experiment with Peruvian Whistling Vessels, I highly recommend the experience. Best played with three or more people, the vessels are said to activate, connect and expand the Pituitary and Pineal Glands (Ajna Chakra, the Third Eye) into higher spiritual energies. 

When played, there is a build-up of different chiming sounds and sensation both in and around the head. Some individuals use this in clearing psychological blockages, dream-state journeying to other realms or for life changing/transformational/ascension work. 

I went into the experience without expectations. It was very intense and though I can’t pinpoint what, something was definitely happening on a psycho-spiritual level. So if you’re interested in working with higher states of consciousness in this way, there is most likely someone in your local community that offers gatherings in which participants can practice with these wonderful vessels.
