Doing or Not Doing

The techniques of not doing are those that have no other point of view than tranquillity, although this is not its objective either. The objective is simply to be centered. They are extremely difficult techniques, suitable for people with practice. Not to think about anything, not even, not to think, is an act that requires a certain mental balance. A Zen way of expressing Do Not is this. I don't think, No, I don't think.

Although one of the goals of meditation is to experience what happens when one is mentally calm and concentrated, and with the body relaxed, most techniques are aimed at making that happen when the mind is prepared, rather than actively pursuing it.

It is essential to remember that the mind must be calm, without thinking about it, without realizing anything it hears, without perceiving its body. It is the direct and immediate experience of nothing, to rest in nothingness, as the silent moon rests in space, then the moon disappears, leaving nothing to rest in nothingness. But it doesn't end here. When a person experiences a complete outer silence, he has the impression of opening up to a completely new realm of being. Instead of experiencing nothing, it seems to experience everything, an undifferentiated whole, which is not separated, without one thing distinguishable from the other. Instead of emptiness, one has infinite fullness.

Throughout the centuries, mystics have tried to describe this experience through art, poetry and literature, but it is indescribable. There are those who consider this experience as a sign of divine favor, and at the opposite extreme, some consider it an aberration of the brain. Although in the history of humanity it has been interpreted in all ways and in the light of different religions and theories, as experience alone is. In fact, trying to induce it can be a way of blocking it, although some zazen techniques use the frustration of trying to create a state in which the mind finally bursts into silence, becoming open and serene.

Apparently we need relaxation training or something like that for meditation, but as far as I can understand meditation brings very good benefits to the body and mind. What would these benefits be? I confess that I do not understand much about this topic but it seems very interesting to me.

Thanks for sharing, take care brother.

Hello @edgarare thumbs up on an amazing.

To be honest, meditation is not something that I practice but I do applaud those take out time to meditate and feel the impact because I know there is a lot of great science and history behind this practice.

I don't think so hard about meditation.

Because humans are in a state of meditation when we are extremely concentrated.

Meditation is the state of degeneration consciousness.

For example, you can achieve the same effect as meditation if you forget time by cleaning, concentrating on work, or being passionate about something.

Meditation isn't only keep quiet.

There is also dynamic meditation that moves the body.

I have never intended to meditate on purpose.
Because meditation is in everyday life.

If you want to stop thinking, you just have to concentrate on moving your body instead.

Use the everyday to reach a transcendental level. Like cleaning, running, walking, etc. Sounds great. Maybe it should happen to painters, sculptors, writers, and other artists when they create works of art. Fascinating!

What an amazing comment @marshalyra

You´re completely right...!!! Everything moves our mind and body, and I really love in that way as you think and how you describe meditation...!!! It is correct, we can meditate all the time, your mind is moving everywhere without feeling ...!!!

Love it...!!!

What an excellent comment @marshalyra

Dear @edgarare1

In this world so hectic and technologically crowded, it is not bad to put into practice what you suggest, because in one way or another all at some time we need to be in that mood and that our mind and body are one, one full tranquility and inner peace.

As the master of Kung Fu Panda would say, hehe: D only that phrase came to my mind.

inner peace.

Greetings my friend

by the way I invite you to read my publication

Hello my friend @lanzjoseg . thanks a lot for your comment...!!!

There is no reason why we can't afford to try something different that will benefit us in our lives.

As you mentioned, technology came to make life antisocial... We can leave the cell phone for a full day and contemplate the outside world we have, lie on the grass and watch the sky, spend a day for ourselves would be a total benefit to our mind and body.

thank you for sharing with me your link. I will take a look.

A calm mind is hard if people keep pushing and asking and talking to you, so is meditating.
I try it if I am in a lot of pain, during operations and now too... but the patient I share a room with has so many visitors nearly whole day on that the only thing I can do is leave the room and sit in the Hall and wait.

I always tried to meditate, I never got to that, I tried to meditate in the shower. And with the water falling does not nod I was able to empty my mind, for those who have difficulty is the tip

Hello, @jcmrb thanks a lot for your recommendation ...

It's difficult to keep your mind quiet, problems always arise, dilemmas, ideas, would I leave the kitchen on? (Do you understand me?).

To practice this, one should be on vacation so as to be able to forget the daily problems. Will it make a difference to take 5 minutes without thinking about anything every day? I will try.

Thanks for sharing

@crypto.piotr used a marketing technique to lead me to this blog post. I just had nothing better to do, so I followed that invitation.

What I see is a self-paid post that doesn't talk about anything essential, doesn't tell anything new, doesn't name any sources and presents a few lines of easy writing that basically don't interest anyone. I read correspondingly empty comments.

It is unclear (actually not:) whether you as the author of these lines have reached a meditation level equal to what you describe. I assume you didn't achieve this mastery, but you act as if you knew.

It takes years of training just like being trained in spiritual practice, which is best learned from those who spread the great knowledge of thoughtlessness: The Buddhist monasteries. They describe very impressively, how difficult it is for them, even after many years as monks, to pursue a meditation practice of thoughtlessness and what difficulties they had at the beginning.

... But well, if it makes you happy to pay yourself for blogging and a couple of small comments really get you ahead: :)

Maybe soon there will come times when people will pay something for attending a casting. Steemit makes it possible and apparently creates new habits.

Let's have a good laugh together. :)))

The process of doing and not doing is important to find balance in life, I agree.
I think there should be times in your day where you feel bored, where your body your mind slips the points of not doing anything. This gives your mind a chance to rest , much like taking a deep breath of air after being underneath the water, allows you think clear and move forward with more intent.
Thank you for spreading some wisdom!

Hello @jacuzzi . Thank you so much for your impressive comment,

On the contrary, thank you for giving me a class with such a clear and precise description that you left in your comment. Of course it must be so, and of course there are those moments that you comment, without realizing it, we are already in a lapse of thoughts without anything distracting us. At that moment our mind is already resting deeply...

Impressive.
