did i say write? yeah i dunno how much i could even tell you, but tune into my medicine card monday and readings? i blog a lot about my culture. hehe
i dunno, i teach what is needed and i'm in training ... sooooo ...
no i have not heard of caddo.

Sort:

ok "tune in"? you mean read your blog?
if you blog alot about your culture then I'm your biggest fan and will eat it up.
in training for what and who is training you?

I live in Caddo Mills Texas which was named for the Caddo Indians, they were mound builders and were 200,000 strong when the French and Spanish first came. By the time they were moved to OK Indian Territory
there were only 1,400 but they survived with their culture intact and now are thriving with 6,000 members. They made the best long bows which the other tribes including Apache would travel great distances for, and they still make them. I did a series on them on my blog, weeks of research.

yes and yes and yes i do! lolz
medicine woman in training, i thought you read my blog, its in my bio at the end. SMH
get me a Bow mannnnnn hehe

yes I read your Bio but thought I read that you were a Medicine Woman not one
in training, my bad. I gotta find time to spend on your blog.
The bows are the best because they are the strongest but most flexible wood from
the Bois De Arc tree, we have a couple on our property. trees not bows. I wish!

I told my wife I'm gettin me one of those bows.
probably charge me a fortune since I'm just a dumb white guy.
but it will be worth it. they're still teaching their kids to shoot
them, I got photos.
by the way, I've never heard of no Medicine Woman, I didn't know
there was such a thing, is that a modern development to maintain
the craft or knowledge or whatever?

@janton okay sweet! yes in training. oh heck yea. i need a bow.
how much do they go for? i'd need to come down and get one, they only give me deals face to face. hehe
strange that you never heard of a medicine woman, butttt you aren't native american so that makes sense. LOL!!no it's an ancient tradition. i come from a long line of medicine women and men.

I don't know how much the bows go for and they may not even sell one to a dumb white guy and I wouldn't blame them! lol.
So you are from a long line of Medicine Women, how interesting... do know alot of your genealogy, can you trace back through the generations?
I will get to your blog and read alot.
thanks so much @eaglespirit

i see, i figured since you stated you did a lot of research on the tribe and wrote many blogs that youd know.
btw, i do not give permission for anyone to write anout me or my people specifically. i will write my story. i feel the need to clarify this. i am degreed and know my culture and people. i do not mind curiosity and kind support. i do not feel that you know my geneology, so i ask you to be careful with that. yes i have my geneology and people outside of my people do not have this info.

I will eventually find out about the bows trust me. as far as writing about you or your people no I would never do that. I wouldn't even think about that. I am extremely trustworthy and loyal to a fault and have great respect for people. I'm thrilled that you have your genealogy!

okay great! glad you confirmed me with that. i appreciate it much. yes i do know. :)
