Aspirin is an analgesic. That is, a drug that reduces pain without inducing unconsciousness. So what then are side effects? Often times, a lot of people have the wrong notion or definition to what side effects are. But it simply means the unintended or effects of drig on target tissues of the body. Side effects are not necessarily toxic effects of drugs but are the untoward effects asides from the pharmacological effects of drugs in the body. Side effects can be simply referred to as untoward effects. Some untiward effects of aspirin in the body includes a fast heartbeat, nausea, swelling of the eyes, nose, lips and tongue, vomiting and some more.
