It's quite amazing when we discover how many doctors are opposed to vaccinations. Here's one of dozens of websites that question the validity of mass immunization.

We dont have a better option for illnes like polio. Rabies or tetanus. Most of the people will accept doctors when need heart surgerry but not they advice for vaccines.
I've read that the position doctors take on vaccinating ranges all the way from "all vaccines are good and mass vaxx should be compulsory" through to "some are good, some arent, under some circumstances", through to "almost all of them should be avoided".
And you're right that sometimes conventional medical help is needed such as when you've been smashed up in a motor car accident.
We dont have anything better rather than vaccines for certan diseases.
