I hope you're right. "I think what we are witnessing is a clear instance in which alternative media successfully caused the establishment to lose control of the narrative on an important issue." I've been pondering the same theories, whether the MSM just suddenly decided to go after this issue in their hatred of President Trump, or what could be the cause of the sudden shift. If your theory is true, then maybe, just maybe there's hope that we will finally shine a light on the atrocities we've committed in Syria.

I feel the exact same way as your statement: "I personally don't much care if Trump gets all the blame for the Yemen catastrophe at this point. I've spent 2017 and 2018 fighting the insane corporate liberal notion that all American depravity began in January of last year, but at this point I'm happy with literally anything that just ends the death and devastation."

A Yemeni in my newsfeed posts cries for help every single day. It didn't just happen. He's been posting them for as long as he's been on my friends list. And the Syrians have been posting their pleas in my newsfeed to deaf ears since 2013.
