I looked through your posts and they are fairly good. I noticed you are new. Hopefully it is OK for me to give you a few tips?
A good introduction post is a good idea, Include lots of information about yourself and what your blog will be about. A picture of yourself is a good idea too. If you want privacy and don't want to use a picture of yourself at least try and share some pictures that show what your life is like. Usually the intro posts do pretty good although no guarantees.
Also, my number one tip for building followers when new is to do lots of commenting. Like what you did to get my attention. Oh and have something for your profile pic even if you plan to change it after.
