DJI Mavic Pro active track mountain biking
Testing out active track follow mode on the DJI Mavic Pro
A short video of the Mavic tracking me down a mountain bike trail in Wales. My friend was holding the controller but did not take control at any point until the very end.
Hopefully, this will give fellow bikers an idea of what to expect.
Things to note during tracking; if you were to do a sudden change of direction then the Mavic is likely to lose track of the subject. Also, the controller needs to be on and connected, this can be an issue as you will have to make sure that no buttons or any of the control sticks will be touched during flight. So either put the controller in a case to avoid this or have someone hold it.
