Food Photography: Matcha Mochi Pancake

Matcha is very popular nowadays. It is a fine powder coming from processed green tea leaves and most of my friends love the taste of matcha in their drinks and food recipes.

I was not fascinated with any kind of tea before, until my husband and I went for a date yesterday. Our feet brought us to Passion Tree Cafe here in Chatswood. Due to my curiousity of how matcha tastes like, I ordered this matcha mochi pancake. The picture does look mouth-watering and it tastes like heaven! Now, i am one of those who love matcha treats!
