Masturbation today as in generations past remains one of the most noxious habits perpetrated by young people all over the world.
From a medical perspective it wouldn't harm your body at all if you chose not to masturbate, Masturbation is a normal activity. Contrary to any myths you may have heard, masturbation will not cause you to go blind but can actually do worse, it will not grow hair on your palms, but can cause you to become vulnerable to some certain diseases. (If too much or become more addicted to it)
Masturbation is an activity few talk about but in which so many partake. Despite being trend in so many parts of the world, history tells us that masturbation has been around pretty much forever, and it's not going away anytime soon. We know the most obvious side effect of masturbation (it feels good), but few realize that the pastime can have many other side effects, both good and bad.
Stress and Pain Relief :
Masturbating is like any sexual activity, releases endorphins, chemicals in our body that promote a sense of happiness and can relieve stress.Biblical Condemnation : People often condemn masturbation because of their religious believe and most believe it’s a evil thing to do in the sight of God.

Masturbation is a sin and it’s certainly something you cannot publicly proud of, Almost every teenager has passed through the process of masturbation one way or the other and it has caused a lot of problems for teenagers, Youths and Adults because of their addiction to it.

First, very brave of you to write about this topic. In my opinion, @geeflow, your article's heading is wrong. If you are against masturbation, why then write "Pleasure and effect"? Your whole post is confusing to me. First you write that you won't go blind, etc etc. Then you came out and say it is a sin. Why not make your heading then "Masturbation is a sin".
That said, I don't think masturbation is a sin, I am sure it can be harmful to you psychologically if you are addicted. There is no scripture that speaks against masturbation.
Yea i totally agree, to say its a sin implies that everyone who reads this believes in "the Bible" I personally have spent my entire life studying the Bible and have found inconsistencies and with that being said do not just imply that people are going to believe your "sin" theory. Great post non the less and great conversation starter.
Well, I agree there are some twist in it but it’s just to get people attention so they can focus more on the reading but I have a question for you, What stimulates masturbation ? Before you answer that you should check (Mathew 5:28)
I know that verse well, it is not only sexual desire that will stimulate masturbation. Lots of girls and woman maturbates and women are not stimulated so much by the visual. It is natural desire that comes from within. The sexual desire that God created us with is one of the strongest on earth. Song of Solomon 8:6 "6 Set me as a seal upon thine heart, as a seal upon thine arm: for love is strong as death; jealousy is cruel as the grave: the coals thereof are coals of fire, which hath a most vehement flame.

Masturbation starts usually as soon as the sexual awakening takes place, in the early teens. The problem is not masturbation but that the world corrupted God's ways. In the Bible people got married as soon as the sexual awakening started.

So that was God's way, but then the world comes and say no you have to go to school before you can get married, then it was high school, then is was, you must study even further, go to university. Then materialism take over even more and now you must have a car, a house etc etc. and society is going from bad to worse. Now we sit with this problem to stay celibate for years and years after the sexual awakening and most people don't know what to do with this strong sexual desire that God created them with. I believe that masturbation in moderation, not an addiction to it, is a natural way to help young people to stay away from immorality before marriage. If you do not masturbate it even occurs in your sleep to give you release. My remedy for masturbation is, as soon as you met a person you love, get married. I think parents should encourage that even if the person is still studying.
1 Corinthians 7: 9 "But if they cannot contain, let them marry: for it is better to marry than to burn."
I got married at the age of 18 just after finishing my high school. My brother married at 20 because as a devoted Christian he told my parents that he got the wife that God chose for him and that he will not sin in having sexual relations with her, he will marry and finish his studies at the university and he did just that.

Sorry, I don't agree with you for the reason you gave: Father God also is not having sex, but He gave it to us as a beautiful gift between a husband and a wife.

What have noticed is that when once u start masturbating , you might get addicted to it..
So its best if we don't adhere to our sexual callings especially when lonely..
I think this advice is sending masturbtion into wedlock. But are we not liable to masturbate?
As a human , the flesh and the feelings.
There are some hormone that do rise up even without having sex or having mind of sexuality. But I learnt that masturbation occurs when your body hormone is full in the body system or wha do you think
Well, I think sometimes people give in to their body requests easily but personally I think most people don’t know the damages masturbation cost them until it’s too late. It’s a sin against God, We should all learn that no matter how full your body hormone is, Addiction to masturbation ain’t the way out.
But do you know some are not doing this because of their personal interest but because of the situation they find themselves. Some boredom , loneliness , heartbreak and others .

I don't think you understand where that bible reference is intended to guide people toward guarding your mind and heart. Nor do you clearly explain your point. Using the christian tag because you reference the bible is inappropriate in my eyes too.
