Record Setting High Temperatures in Massachusetts! Lots of Fun in the Sun!
Lots of World Records are currently being set at the Winter Olympics! Massachusetts has had one of it's own record set for high temperatures in the month of February! The past two days saw temps in the low 70's! Needless to say, I spent much of my time outdoors! We even went down to our favorite local summer spot by the lake. Unfortunately, we got a bit chilled by the winds coming off the icy lake. Yes, most of the lake was still frozen!
Today, temps are back to normal and we are currently having a mess of snow, sleet and freezing rain out there now. With today's high temperatures only in the 30's, this is a drop of 40 degrees from one day to the next.
A month or so ago, we had another record breaking period, this time of cold. We had such the cold snap that we broke all time records!
Crazy times out there for sure! I hope you were able to enjoy the summer like temps while they lasted!
