Martin Shkreli expressed optimism about DeFi's future and admitted to having utilized the technology in the past. "Uniswap is fantastic. "I started using Uniswap, Ethereum's leading decentralized exchange, in prison," he stated.

​He also talked about how DeFi could eventually supplant the old financial system. "I don't think it's reached its maximum potential," he remarked.

"I believe we'll see an increase in the number of financial items that wind up in DeFi... Some crypto entity will eventually be larger than the financial behemoths."
