Unh, as a new, fresh member here, i don't really understand what the invitation, the minnows is all about. So, i think it will be foolish for me to join a platform i don't know much about. Could you please explain what is the platform all about. I became more afraid when it asked me to sign up with my ACTIVE KEY.

Not a problem at all, understand your concern and its wise to be more secure with active key.
When joining any dApp need to provide active key to give POST auth permission.
Once we have posting permission you get idle upvotes from the school and we also resteem all our posts onto @steemminnows, scroll on the profile and see the votes, minnows are getting 400 on average per week.
