Storm is coming, Storm token ICO introduction

Storm Market is a gamified micro-task marketplace for 3 main services. The first is Storm Play that allows the earning of tokens through playing videos and trying out new products and services. Storm Gigs is the aggregation of services from popular marketplaces, think about popular platforms such as Mechanical Turk, Fiverr, Upwork, TaskRabbit. Storm Shop, earning by shopping for products and services, have yet to be announced.

I find that most attractive part about Storm Market is the service fee of 1% + ethereum gas fee, which easily beats their competitors of 20% -40% service fee. Another problem when I use current platforms to make a purchase for services is the credit card fees and the currency conversion fee to USD. I believe the savings through using a crypto-currency based marketplace platform will make it a necessary feature for all marketplaces in the near future. They have a strong team with experience in the industry, most noted for the development of Storm Play. With Bill Shihara (Bittrex Founder) and Tom Bollich (Zynga Founding CTO) as part of their advisor team, I think that we can have rather high confidence in the direction of the project.

I’m still watching if early token holders will get any privileges. It will be less attractive if the tokens are simply used for transactions on their platform. Afterall, the prices of services would mostly be tied to the current fiat currencies prices. In overall, I think that Storm Market will turn out to be a good investment.
