A Detour to the Market
I am taking today's market on an exclusive level. I am sharing with you a true beauty of African market most especially Ghanaian communities. Let me start to say many big thanks to @dswigle who has found it meaningful to institute #marketfriday giving us the opportunity to pass by the market every friday and share with all steemians what we picked over there.
The Fabric
I started today at Adum Kumasi hoping from shops to shops trying to find a cool fabric for a friend who just gave birth. Women in Ghana here cherish cloth a lot most especially when the give birth. We equally loom good in them when on us. And guess which of the fabric l picked. Have a look at some few ones l spotted from this shop.
The Butcher
It continued to a small mini market in a locality here in Kumasi called Old Tafo. I passed by this small market for some meat at this very place. Here l am with the butcher for a share of mine for the weekend.
The Plantain
I really didnt planned to but seeing these ripened plantains made me begin to think of fried plantain this weekend. And so l had to get closer for a few of them for the weekend. And that was within that very same small mini market at Tafo in Kumasi. One good thing about Kumasi is that, almost every locality has a mini market. They look small sometimes but fully filled with every single commodity everyone needs for a home.

And that was just about it for today at the market. The weekend surely is going to be so much fun cos food will never be scarce. Its all for the excitement that @dswigle gives us with #marketfriday right here on steemit. Everyone is invited to share with us any place of buying and selling. Lets meet next weekend for a great market but till then, have a fabulous weeked. #TGIF
You never fail to amaze me with your market runs. Those are really nice fabric you have there. Perfect colour combinations. By the way, we could design something local for steem with those fabrics. Hihi.
exactly my thoiughts! I love the way you thnink man! Making steem branded clothing or farbrics is a greaty way to earn some powerful upvotes from within the community! Too many people are getting this idea that you must use bid bots to gfet seen and although hey do work to get you a boost, there are still plenty or organic whale upvoters who would upvote the sort of post showcasing Steem branded clothiung made from African fabrics from the Ghanian market , its steem Gold!!! It would get many big upvotes! Especially irf you made a Steemspeak.com logo branded Dashiki or something lool now that would get a huge @booster upvote from @fyrstikken or hey what about a Booster branded african clothing haha that would probobly be so funny for steenmspeak members that theyd upvote it for sure to the trending page :D
Yes and we are up for this @ackza. Lets just see what future holds for us.. We may be attending programmes with steem branded fabrics soon..hihihi
I think I once suggested this to some few Steemians in the Ashanti community if we could have a steem branded fabric..thats so perfect and l cant wait.. thanks @tj4real
Very cool... Love the variety of fabric you have there - many gorgeous pieces... :)
Thank you too..happy sweet weekend
Upvoted and resteemed man! And thanks for resteemeing @surfyogi and you should run for EOS block producer candidate even if you don't win its more symbolic, you can get a lot of attention for GHANA EOS which doesn't exist reallty but you should make it exist@
Only #eosnairobi @eosnairobi which may not bne on steem yet just checking, they are onkly African EOS team getting recognition and publicity right now so you MUST create EOS Ghana
There will be 400 million dollars a year ibn new EOS produced (that's the 5% inflation) so PLKEASE make sure to propose business plans for ways to SPEND some of that EOS in Ghana! Explain how a sort of MARSHAL PLAN for EOS in Afriuca will provide EOS with LIFETIME userbase , hundreds of millions of news users will be formed that way if EOS comes in and helps rebuild internet infrastructure then you could create all thesed new potyential EOS users many of which have expereience with DPOS blockchains like STEEM and this wil also help Steem get publicity. EOS just has more money than steem right now and also many EOS users are also steem users so whats good for EOS will be godo for steem! As peope find out about EOS they'll also find out about Steem because its also DPOS and creeated by same person Dan Larimer.
So in summary, hjust please create the skelaton at least of a EOS ghana organization so you can at least stake your claim to a geographic center for EOS in your region, because theers not much African EOS block producer candidates and even if you don't win block producer hich you won't, you can still get a loy of attention and get some of that seed angel investing airdrop money for your projects here@!!!!! Imagine using some of that EOS money to revamp mobile phone ifrastructure in Ghana to imrpove the country to 4g all over, imagine that man, imagine upgrading all of Ghana to 4g qand small 5g local village wfi etc , it can happen with the ,moneyu EOS has! Heck, it could happen even with the money Steem has!@ but shoot for the moon, because even if you don't make it youll land among the stars
wow..thats such a brilliant idea and hope that EOS brings..The future now appears so clear with EOS now..many thanks for passing by today @ackza
