MarketFriday - initiated by @dswigle - China Town , Bangkok , Thailand...Fruit Section - Part - 2.
Hi everyone here we are back for another #marketfriday initiated by the lovely @dswigle and it's Friday again...Really...where did the week go , anyway that's life enjoy and don't waste it. Today as promised i said i was going to take another tour around ChinaTown which is the biggest ChinaTown in the world as i said last week i could not walk this large area of ChinaTown market in one afternoon so i had to come back to bring you more of this extraordinary fabulous ChinaTown market. Today i hunted down and took a look at the fruits and dry fruit section.
The Fruit section i found is located at the other end of ChinaTown from were i was last week in the clothing and jewelry section. The way these people had all their lovely fresh fruits displayed on there carts made my mouth absolutely water up. Those awesome looking huge green and red grapes the red cherries and white peaches i just wanted to dive straight in.
As always with these street vendors you always get cheap fresh fruit with great service and a smile to go with it nothing more you can ask for. I had to buy one of them white peaches just because they looked so juicy and believe me it was like drinking a white peach smoothie i actually when back after my tour around and bought some to take home with me.
There deeper i was getting into this Fruit section of ChinaTown the more the hunger of all these lovely fruits were playing with my mind. Check out these green and red apples don't they look so crunchy.
Of cause you can't go without all your freshly squeezed pomegranate juice , lemon juice , orange juice , pineapple juice and many more you will see wondering around this fruit section. You certainly won't run out of energy plenty of fresh vitamins to top up with.
And after walking about a one kilometer block of mouth watering fruits i came into the dry fruit section and assorted nuts of all kinds like cashew nuts , pistachio nuts , peanuts and many more.
You are also able to but many varieties of jams , cut bits of dry fish and meats and dry mushrooms to add to your preferred recipes.
And of course this is also a wholesalers market were retailers come in to buy in large quantities weather it would be nuts , clothing or mix jewelry and stones and of course there are many , many other products you can buy here as a retailer. Check out this load of raw cashew nuts going out on a delivery.
This completes the fruits and dry fruit section for the afternoon was a good three hour walk and i am hungry now after looking at all that abundance of foods.... but....but... wait we are not finished yet , we still have another section which i will bring to you on the next #marketfriday but for now i am of to eat and i am sure you guys would be hungry also after looking at all that amazing fruit. I think that you post all that food purposely to make me hungry don't you? I have never in my life seen such an abundance of everything. I don't care if it's food jewelry or pets for sale. Bangkok is a city of absolute awesomeness in every way. This is probably one of the biggest reasons why I like this challenge. It opens up my eyes to places that I have big misconceptions about or gives me the chance to see places that I would never have a thought of going to.
I cannot believe for the life of me that this is such a huge Market that is open to the public and not just wholesalers. In the states, those kind of markets are very a select them who is able to purchase from them and so to see this abundance gorgeous fruit just waiting to be purchased and eaten, well, that is just unbelievable. The perfectness of the entire Market is mind-boggling because as you know, so many of these places are picked through with garbage strewn all over and it's actually very gross. So it is remarkable to me just see how clean and well taken care of the entire places. I still am in awe!
I want to thank you profusely for bringing such a wonderful Market Friday post to all of us and I hope that you put this in the post promotion this week because your post deserves more attention. Thanks for putting it all together and for presenting there to us and of course I appreciate your visits tremendously.
