For Muslims today has an obligation to perform Friday prayers in congregation.
The Great Mosque of Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin Palembang is the oldest and largest mosque in the city of Palembang one of the crowded places to meet the Friday prayers in congregation.
As crowded places on the day Friday making food merchants, clothing, accessories, and street vendors see an opportunity to run their products.
As a result every Friday, there is a shock market that runs from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm.
The sale and purchase activities were suspended after the call to prayer to perform the Friday prayers, and held again after Friday prayers.
