Market Friday in Bern

A walk across the market in Bern is exciting, the market stalls offer everything from flowers, fresh vegetables, fruit and food.

Since the Middle Ages, many but not all of the goods have been produced in the suburbs of the city of Berne, so that they can be quickly fresch transported to the market.

Here the sellers have time for a guest.

If you are hungry, you can eat at one of the many snack stalls.

    What an interesting garden this is! I love how they terraced the land and made it into a wonderfully growing garden. The entire area is used for this and it is so nice to see gardens like these inside the city limits.

    Just the thoughts of having a Market that has been around that long is exciting. Same spot and probably done in the same manner. This was really a wonderful post to show off and I am so glad you took the time to do this for us. Thank you so much and than you for taking the time to put it together!
