Is Another Great Bond Market Massacre Imminent?
In this report, I cover the early market action from London on Thursday, October 4th, 2018. I look briefly at the precious metals, the stock market, the dollar, the bond market, and the oil price.
With the U.S. Treasury market showing signs of distress as yields continue to spike higher and priced plummet I look back at the last bear market in the U.S. Treasury market back in 1994 and how it caused havoc for the financial markets and the economy worldwide.
My conclusion is that we could be in the cusp of another bond market rout that could reverberate throughout the financial markets and the world and could be many times worse than in 1994 as the system is so much more leveraged at present.

good morning mario, thank you for the very important update on the 10yr bond market situation, a quick look at the housing bubbles this morning, and to see a 44% drop in housing purchases in the last year alone in vancouver! also to have to work for 22 yrs for the price of a 60m2 flat in hong kong, 15 yrs the same in london, does not bode well imo, have a great day my friend :)
