Nevada Recreational Cannabis Tourism Post - Canopi My Favorite Dispensary

A long time ago, I declared that I was going to be all over blogging about the various recreational marijuana shops here in Las Vegas. For some reason though, I got distracted and completely forgot to do any of the writing. I wonder why that is :)

I guess the best place for me to start is the cannabis dispensary that I frequent most. This is totally awesome. The grow their own product from front to back in their facility out in Pahrump, Nevada under natural sunlight. I have a neighbor that drives for Lyft and he tells me it's one of the most requested dispensary requested by the tourists.

Their dispensary here in Las Vegas is quite impressive as well. Clean and modern and the way it's setup is much better than most of the other shops I've been to. The line moves rather quickly at Canopi. I wish they allowed cameras inside but they're pretty staunch about this one point. I was able to find stock images on the internet though.

The place is located off Blue Diamond and Decatur Blvd, down here in South Las Vegas. Easy enough to get into, but leaving requires a right turn and then a U turn for me to get back to my place on Las Vegas Boulevard.

This image shows the front of the dispensary where they check your ID and set you up with whatever medical or discount you might be entitled to. There's never more than a couple minutes wait at this point of the process. Security opens the door for you once you've been OK'd for entry.

This is the place where you stand in line waiting for a Bud tender to summon you to the counters to choose your product. The wait at this point can take a while, usually 10 to 20 minutes. They allow medical card holders to bypass the line, which can delay you somewhat, especially if several medical patients show while you're in line.

This is where the magic happens. Your personal Bud Tender will answer as many questions as you want to ask. I get in and get out as fast as I can, as I hate those jagoffs that make everyone else wait with their incessant questions about THC levels and what not.

This was my latest purchase a few days ago. Boss Hogg is a below average bud, but for the price, ($27.99 per 1/8th., with military discount :) Good green bud though, just one of their lower end offerings that will get the job done if you don't want to spend twice as much.
