Medicated Candicated Bacon
IT'S BACCCCOOOONNNN TIME
Hello there again, @Bigpchef here with another edition of medicated snacks and edibles. Today we tackle our friend bacon. Bacon is the gateway to happiness. Bacon is the soul to your mate. Bacon is the soul to my mate. Bacon is bacon, and everything is better with bacon.
So without bacon ado, I present to you...
You can see the cannabis glistening from the bacon's coat. The sparkle from the brown sugar that brings out the black pepper. And whoo baby, have you ever seen such spicy curves?! baseball, baseball, baseball...grandma, grandma, grandma...
Medicated Candicated Bacon
Ingredients:
1 package favorite bacon ( I like cherrywoods smoked thickcut)
2-3 tb cannabis infused butter
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp cinnamon powder
1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
Baking tray or large cookie sheet
Baking mat or parchment paper to prevent sticking
Procedure:
Bring butter to room temperature and then mix with all ingredients except the bacon into a smooth paste. Now spread brown sugar butter mixture evenly over the top of the bacon slices. (Refrain from coating both sides unless you have a wire rack setup for your oven.) Place coated bacon slices in fridge and let marinade overnight. (This step allows you to handle the bacon much easier the following day, as well as enhances the flavor of the spices.) The following day, preheat oven to 350 deg F. Place bacon slices in pan on top of baking mat and place in oven on center rack. Cook 20-30 mins depending on desired level of doneness...not a real word. Remove the bacon from the oven and allow to cool. Viola. It's that simple. Enjoy!

I think the existence of this is proof a higher power exists. OMG I need this. I'm making pancakes for dinner and my back is killing me. This would be the perfect side.
Green eggs and ham?
Haha, yes!! This would go so well w pancakes. Oh man, now I want waffles.
Waffles would be even better. You could break up the bacon into the batter and cook it into the waffles. Not sure if it would be a good idea or not but some cannabis infused butter on top with the syrup.
Hmm...maybe even some infused syrup. Now were talking...
this looks incred

Dude, first of all..
Kudos for doing a medicated candy bacon recipe
That is nothing short of genius! I hope it came out
delicious.. I am wondering how the dosage works out
per bacon strip.. how many bacons must you consume
before you are properly medicated..? Perhaps you would
want a lower dosage based on how many bacons you would
prefer to consume? I bet there is a whole bacon science to it..
^^ ^^ ^^ ^^ ^^ ^^ ^^ ^^ ^^ ^^
My only concern or criticism is that you are using butter on top
of a foodstuffs that already contains a lot of fat..
Can't be great for your health, and you would think most of the
butter would slide off the bacons and onto the baking sheet.
The dosage is definitely something that needs to be calculated. A rough estimate would be about 10-15 mg per piece. So for someone who does not consume edibles on a regular basis, I would start with one strip, and wait about 90 mins before consuming the next piece (if you need to). And you're absolutely correct. Butter on top of bacon isn't really healthy...but then again...we are sorta talking about "candied bacon", so I think a cheat day of bacon isn't that bad of a thing ;)
