Why is Marijuana actually prohibited?

Actually the main reason is even worse than you could possibly think.

There is lot of support around the globe for legalizing the marijuana in countries where it is still prohibited. But have you ever asked yourself why it is prohibited in the first place? If you asked yourself just now, I will provide you " main reason".

In 1929 was Harry Anslinger apointed as a head of a department of bans. The department didn't really function as supposed and it was supposed to be closed. Mr. Anslinger had to find a way hot to keep his department alive and he could not prohobit alcohol. So he dediced to stand against marijuana. Some poeple claimed that marijuana thanks to marijuana people become agressive criminals and wild animals. So he was looking for a reason so he could declare that marijuana is super dangerous.

In the same year boy named Victor Licata killed his entire family with an axe. Harry Anslinger took advantage of it and declared that this guy was high and doped after smoking marijuana. But for prohibiting marijuana by law he needed statement from a doctor. He contacted 30 doctors and only one from these 30 said yes to his crazy idea, rest was against it. And guess what it was enough and he got what he wanted. USA prohibited marijuana followed by states like Mexico etc.

Lot of doctors knew that marijuana is not dangerous at all and even after some time it was proven that Victor Licata had just some kind of mental disease. And on top of that there wasn't single proof of finding THC in blood of Victor and it was reported by his friends that he never even smoked it. Instead of that there was a record of physical problems in his family.

Whatever opinion you have on smoking pot you just have to admit the reason behind prohibiting marijuana in USA is just ludicrous.
