I visited some friends in Oregon recently and was able to witness the cannabis craze first hand while there. First up, there are pop up shops on nearly every other corner and people who I never imagined would ever use cannabis are using it more and more. My personal thoughts on this are that it should be legalized nationwide as I do think cannabis is a lot less dangerous than alcohol. I'm not stating that it is good for you but in sake of the argument as to whether or not it should be legalized, there are a lot of more harmful things out there that are legal so why is there so much hatred towards cannabis. I believe that Jeff Sessions might be using this as a distraction as this topic has been making a lot of news recently but no action has been done that actually follows up his opinions on the matter. It would be too difficult to make it illegal again as the majority of society has changed their thoughts on the once illegal drug and people are seeing it as a normal part of society.
