An attempt to score Acehnese Ganja

this is a journey i've done with a tourist a few month ago. I write this today for my own security.

I met this guy in Medan, the third biggest city in indonesia.
We've talk trough phone before.
He said that he's have experience with marijuana around the world.
He smoke it for medical purpose, he has back injury since his young age, which he's giving his dream up.
He's willing to pay me to accompany him in medan and aceh in order to keep him out of trouble, legally or socially.

Our first night in medan, he ask me to take to an area which he reads from deepnet is an place to score ganja.
As I dont really have a good connection i medan, I cant confirm what he learn, so i just go with him so he dont get in trouble.

We hang in a street food vendor around the area and talk to a few people. But I ask him to not ask directly about ganja to any person, as I see that people we talk is untrustworthy. We cant score that night.

Next day, before our flight to banda aceh, I make a few phone call to book a few hotel.

Now, as i make a statement in a post before : ITS EASY TO SCORE GANJA IN ACEH.
Here is the interesting part.

The first few phone call, I talk with persons who talk formally, so i end up JUST talk about room charges adn fasilities.

Then, come this hotel owner i talk with.
As he talk with informal language, with clear acehnese accent, I have an idea to ask what we need to him.

Take a note that originally I intend to ask a few friends in banda aceh after we got there.
So, this hotel owner is the first person i ask for acehnese weed.

As I talk with a friendly tone also with acehnese accent, and after i know he's already recognize me as a fellow acehnese, I start to ask him about ganja.
I used a common marijuana name in aceh, "bakong", while conversate with him.
He respond well, he said he can easily provide it the next day, he even ask how much we need.

The tourist surprised and smiling ear to ear. LOL
He dont really hoped to score it that easy, as he's learn that aceh have a strict islamic law and bond with indonesian law which ganja still illegal.

That afternoon we fly to banda, and arrivde to the airport after dark where our designated driver already waits.
This driver already known from the hotel owner about aur intention. So he propose a place for a SPECIAL DINNER.

The driver order us MIE ACEH, a famous traditional culinary in aceh. For the tourist, a special plate which mixed with ganja seed. He can really taste strong ganja in the food, but he cant finish his plate, its too spicy for his jetlag stomach.
I forget to take picture in the restaurant.

We arrive at the hotel a little late that night.
The owner is already gone home, only his employee and a youngster in the lobby.

After dropping my stuff in the room, I came back to the lobby to talk with the employee.
I ask is there anything the owner said to him, good things he knows what i talked about.
the owner will provide the amount we need in the next day, but he can help to find us 1 or 2 joint for the night.
So i take his offer so my tourist can enjoy the night peacefully.

The tourist rolled 2 joint that night, but he said that the product have a bad quality. so we expected a better qualities for the next day product that the owner will provided.

Next day, we officially met with the hotel owner and a guy he called DOCTOR.
this DOCTOR just got back from his ganja farm deep in the forested area, with a plastic bag.
At a safe place, he showed us a bag of ganja he's harvested from his farm.

The bag probably contain around almost a kilo of naturally growth marijuana. the doctor said that its aldready dried on the spot fer a few day, but still have green color. He said that this product is number #2 in quality, the #1 planted in the higher mountain which gonna take more than a day to acquire.

Once again, my tourist shocked and have a big smile on his face. we just take about half kilo and pay around USD 90 for it (I cant really remember). next day we pack our bag, hide the ganja under the clothes, and move to a bungalow at the beach, one of the most beautiful beach in indonesia.

At the side of the beach, we stayed for a few days. he's enjoying 7 to 10 joints a day. Suprisingly, he dont really look high at all, its proved his statement that he's experienced.

He make a little review about this acehnese marijuana. He said that this product is good and strongs but not the best amongs all ganja products around the world he's already smoke.
As this ganja is not fully dried yet, he has to mix it with cigarette to make it burn well.

The special things is he can put the seeds in the joint. Other product seeds will pop while burned inside the joint, this will ruins the mood and mess the joint, as he told me. this acehnese ganja seeds only makes mild pop that wont ruin the blunt.

As a guide and a non-smoker, my duty is to take care of him while he's high 24/7.
I make a decision and schedule the day for him, manage his budget, daily meal, etc. Luckily, we can found a proper western restaurant that fit his taste. Even I help him plannned his flight home.
He asking me to help him so he could enjoy smoking all day.

I take him to airport to fly home after 7 days with a happy face. LOL
