Got anxiety? Vape CBD

in #marijuana7 years ago (edited)

Many people who smoke cannabis know what Im talking about when I say you can get too high from weed. Today we have mostly high THC strains with low amounts of CBD. The relation of these two chemicals is what makes the difference in the effect of cannabis strains Sativa or Indica.

Paranoia, anxiety, feelings of discomfort all come from the strains that are too high in THC. So how we avoid getting paranoid and antisocial ? Smoke less weed of course... but for people who cannot have this option.. I recommend Vaping CBD..

So what is CDB?

Cannabidiol, is the natural medical ingredient of Marihuana and a chemical in common Hemp. Because hemp is not illegal it can be easy to get in many countries where the use of cannabis is illegal. CBD is anti-inflamatory, anticonvulsant, antioxidant, antiemetic, anxiolytic and antipsychotic and is a potential medicine for neuroinflamation, epilepsy,  oxidative injury, vomiting and nausea, anxiety and schizophrenia.

SO why VAPE?

Bioavailability. It means how much of the substance you take will actually reach the bloodstream.

Oral CBD is the most commonly available way to take it in the form of hemp edibles and hemp oil but the bioavailability is only between 5 -20 % . The substance has to pass through the digestive system and the liver to get into the bloodstream and because of the "first pass metabolism" a large amount of it is metabolised resulting in low bioavailability.

Inhaling CBD will result in a higher bioavailability as the substance can enter the bloodstream through the lungs before its metabolised and this results in a 56% bioavailability. Vaporising any substance will be a lot more healthy than smoking it because the vapor does not contain tar. Propylene glicol and vegetable glycerin e-liquid mixes are widely available with CBD so they can be vaporised using a regular electronic cigarette.

Even better, some of these e-liquid formulas also contain Terpenes as flavorings. Chemicals naturally found in cannabis. The chemicals giving your Mango Kush or Lemon Haze that distinct sweet flavour is also a chemical with anti-anxiety and relaxant effects and together with CBD they have a beautiful natural synergy.

Electronic cigarettes are easy to use and are efficient drug delivery systems and every time we hit that bong too much and need time to chill out they are very effective way to deliver the cannabidiol to counteract the effect of THC and make us a little more sober to get us off that anxious rollercoaster and back onto a mellow relaxed state of mind combined with an incredible body buzz.

PEACE

I'm new to this subject. I was chatting with Michael Backes elsewhere tonight, and he says that vaping vaporizes some of the potential chemical contaminants from indoor-grown cannabis before it releases CBD, and this doesn't happen at lower temperatures. Vaping must be the way to go, then?

I think vaping is always the way to go. In the post I was writing about vaping purified extract. I get my cbd from a local e cigarette shop :) pure extract. If you vape ingrown herb there will always be some contamination. I think at higher temperatures there can be some combustion that releases some new chemicals like aldehydes (formaldehyde) that are not good to breathe in. The goal of vaping is to keep the substances intact while delivering them.

I love CBD!! My girl does too, and she hates thc!! lol
