Some of my weirdest marijuana moments

Occasionally I will smoke a joint or two and while most of the time it’s fun but not worth mentioning I've had some experiences that are quite funny. Here they are:

• A friend and I are smoking and decide to watch a movie. We watch another one. We laugh a lot. Two days later I ask him, “ Hey, didn’t we watch movies the other night, I remember it was fun”. For the life of me I can’t remember what movies we watched, neither can he. A few days later it hits me out of nowhere, we watches “The onion movie”’ and “Mister Bean”. I don’t remember a thing from those movies. Nothing.

• So I’m home alone and I just got this new medical marijuana, already ready, no tabaco. It’s the afternoon and if I remember correctly i’m out of a job. This is the perfect timing to try the weed. So I smoke, a few puffs and that’s it! I’m careful because I never smoked alone and I never tried something this strong before. 3 minutes later I’m on the recliner, but not really. I’m floating above it, looking at the room from the air. And while I enjoy the sensation it’s also extremely scary. That's the moment my brain remembers all the stories from my teenage years about people who took some mushrooms in their trips to india and got stuck thinking they are a dolphin, a tree, or the worst - an orange being peeled. I calm myself by remembering that all those people ate mushrooms not smoked a little joint. But, well, maybe I will be the first. The first person ever to get stuck on a feeling I get from a little weed. Hey, at least i’ll be the first of something! This is the moment I decide it’s time to sleep it off. I drag myself to bed. Never smoked alone again in my life.

• I smoke with some friends and stare at the floor. The tiles have these uneven dots and marks on them. And in my head I draw lines between the dot’s. The lines form Mickey Mouse. He looks at me. He smiles. He moves. Eventually he becomes colorful and moves from the floor to float in front of me. I look at him floating in the air. It’s weird. And cute. and weird. And a bit scary. I say thank you to my friend, and go to bad.
