How to roll an Inside-Out Joint. :D

This guide expects you to know the basics. I tried to be as thorough as possible, but there is just some techniques pictures can't show. If you know how to roll a normal joint then this should be no problem for you! 

Take a paper out of your pack. 

Flip the paper over so the glue is facing downwards.

Fold the glue side of the paper up diagonally in the shape of a coney joint like below. The glue side of the paper should be facing upward and to the outside of the paper. When folding, make sure that the bottom right portion has enough space to pack with flower and that the top left corner with glue is touching the top edge of the paper like below.

Get out a good amount of flower and grind it to a semi-fine consistency. It shouldn't be fine, just broken up enough to pack well inside of a joint without any bumps. Remove all stems, very important!

Grab your paper and hold it like so. 

Make sure that the glue is facing outward.

While you are holding the paper with one hand, use the other to fill it generously with flower.

Using your finger, spread the flower out evenly across the paper. Roll the paper with weed up and down in your hand until it starts to roll into a compact cylinder. Start from the small end and work your way up to the larger end.

Once the flower is rolled into a compact cylinder inside of the paper, it should be easier to work with. Make sure not to roll it too tight! It should want to keep it's shape now, especially if your flower is moist. 

Now roll the glue edge of the paper down as close as possible on the small end so when you roll it the glue meets with the top of the paper. This is the hardest part, you have to ensure the tip is tight otherwise the joint will shit on you, and no one likes a shitty joint haha. See picture below and then I will explain more.

See how the glue edge is rolled tightly over the flower and will be the first to meet with the paper on the other side when rolled? This is what you are going for. You want the glue to be as tight as possible all the way up  the joint as you roll it so the joint will be tight once done. 

Once you get the tip right, start rolling the joint up from the small end first and work your way up to the middle.

You can see how the shiney side of the glue meets perfectly with the paper above it as I roll. This is what you are looking for. Once you get to this point, continue to roll the paper so the top paper covers the glue completely all the way across. Put most of your emphasis on the smaller end to ensure it is tight as you will be able to pack the larger end later.

This is what it should look like once you are done. The bottom right end is much tighter than the larger left end, and that is ok! Don't freak! Now, grab the paper with your other hand near the middle and pull on the top paper in order to snug it towards the middle. 

Holding it snug with your hand, turn the joint over until you can see the glue edge through the top layer of paper, as shown below.

See the white line the runs up the side of the joint? This is the glue side of the paper underneath. Lick through the top layer of the paper following the line from the small end to the top. Ensure that the paper above the glue line is well saturated. This is what is going to seal your joint. 

Once you have licked all the way up and down the line (be sure to only lick this area and no where else), pull the top layer of the paper back extremely gently until you can see that the glue has made a good seal all the way up and down the joint. If you missed any spots, fold the top layer of paper back over and lick the other side again like before.

This is the fun part. While the paper is still wet from licking, hold the joint at an angle with the largest end facing up. Pull the excess paper away from the joint and light the bottom largest end and allow the flame to travel up the paper. It will stop right before it hits the joint because of where you licked, so don't worry!! After all the excess paper burns off, lick the edges of the paper down around the joint.

Using a poke tool, pack down the flower in the top of the joint and roll the excess paper in between your fingers in order to seal it off. Pinch and shake if it still isn't tight enough, then twist the top tight again. 

Once you are done you should have something that looks like this!! Burn or bite off the tip (I chose to burn) and light dat bitch up and enjoy!

There you have it folks, one inside-out joint! Now you say "Hey, that was pretty cool, but what's the point"?

1. You smoke less paper, I find that my joints taste much better this way and are far less harsh.

2. It looks cool as fuck haha, do that trick at a party and you'll get alot of questions. ;)
