Mandela Effect, What is it? lets find out
Hello all, some weird phenomenon is happening to some of the world's people. Some are remembering history a little different. Here is my top 5 List of Mandelas.
#1 Monopoly man
Many people remember that the Monopoly man, has a monocle. But in actual fact, he does not. Maybe people have been confusing him with the Mr. Peanut peanut mascot since he also wears a top hat and has a cane.
#2 Pikachu’s tail
Many people remember the tip of Pikachu from Pokemon tail being black. But now, if you look at a picture of him, there’s no black mark on his tail. Very strange.
#3 Curious George's tail
There are many people that remember seeing Curious George use his tail in order to swing from trees. But now, he doesn't. If you look at pictures of him now, you will see that he has no tail.
#4 C-3PO being all gold
There are many Star Wars fans (me included) that remember C-3PO being completely gold. They were pretty shocked to find out that he actually had a silver leg this whole time. Even most Star Wars memorabilia doesn’t include the silver leg, the replicate is also all good. At least this can make fans feel better that they are not completely alone in thinking this, and have not gone completely crazy.
#5 Hannibal Lecter never said ”Hello, Clarice”
Have you seen The Silence of Lambs? There is no way you don’t know the famous line ”Hello, Clarice” But the strange part is, that this line was never said. When Clarice meets Hannibal Lecter for the very first time, he says only ”Good morning” and nothing more.
False memory syndrome
False memory syndrome (FMS) describes a condition in which a person's identity and relationships are affected by memories that are factually incorrect but that they strongly believe.[1] Peter J. Freyd originated the term,[2] which the False Memory Syndrome Foundation (FMSF) subsequently popularized. The term is not recognized as a psychiatric illness[3] in any of the medical manuals, such as the ICD-10[4] or the DSM-5;[5] however, the principle that memories can be altered by outside influences is overwhelmingly accepted by scientists.[6][7][8][9]
False memories may be the result of recovered memory therapy, a term also defined by the FMSF in the early 1990s,[10] which describes a range of therapy methods that are prone to creating confabulations. Some of the influential figures in the genesis of the theory are forensic psychologist Ralph Underwager, psychologist Elizabeth Loftus, and sociologist Richard Ofshe. As stated by wikipedia

Are some people suffering from some false memories? But why so many? Is something else going on here? What do you think friends?
I did not now about that one from "Silence of the Lambs'' I thought he did say - Hello Clarice, it is a meme in curent times.
Yep, i also remember him saying Hello Clarice..weird man
Cool post man... i remember about the silver leg because i saw in a youtube video review😎
its strange, i remember him all gold..maybe i have bad memory :D
A coworker of mine brought this up to me a couple of weeks ago. Some examples he gave:
Some strange wording in the King James version of the Bible including mention of unicorns which he did not remember
The spelling of the name of Peanuts creator (it's Schulz not Schultz).
Wording of the Mr. Rogers Neighborhood song (I forget the specifics now)
Then of course there is the one that the effect is name for. Apparently many people remember Nelson Mandela dying in prison when in fact he did not.
Apparently one theory is that these false memories are a side effect of time travel.
The unicorn one is very strrange and funny, how can there be unicorns in the bible? There are a lot of this mandelas, i just hope we have bad memory, else the multi dimension or time-travel theories must be right which i think is more bad then the slippery memory :D
