Malmoe: The last 24 hours in short

Not so much could've been happening in Malmoe during this short period, eh? So one might think, at least.

A short round-up of the last day's happenings in Malmoe, Sweden:

1. 95-year old woman robbed and beaten in her home - was kept prisoner
   This poor old woman was held captive while her captivators for 1.5 hours searched her home for valuables. The robbery looks very similar to what happened the day before when another woman in her fifties where robbed in her home and got her feet, hands and mouth taped.

2. 1,5 year old boy bitten all over his back by another child without any of the staff noticing
   This has been quite a big news story where a boy was assaulted by another child on day care.

3. Malmoe residents are charged with serious rape - are suspected in several other cases as well
   These rapists broke into a young woman's apartment in the middle of the night and raped her, beat her, strangled her and threatened to kill her with a gun. When the police arrived one of the rapists pointed the gun towards the police but was shot down himself before pulling the trigger.

   Luckily, the one injured is not some passer-by but a criminal with a lot of crimes on his record. He's well known to the police, who also have him on a watch list.
