Lighting at Lippo Group's Own Property Malls

If one time you visit Pluit Village Mall and Lippo Mall Puri, there is a new touch that makes you feel more comfortable. Yes, the new lighting touch by Philips Lighting keeps these two shopping centers under the control of Lippo Group, much better and stunning in the hearts of visitors.

Philips Lighting Indonesia (PLI) offered evidence that new LED lighting installed in the two shopping centers could significantly reduce energy consumption and electricity bills. In addition, the tenants and visitors can now enjoy a lighter and more comfortable mall.

The management of the mall also gives a positive impression of the latest lighting. "For us, electricity is one of the biggest cost items of mall operations. We are excited to be working with Philips Lighting that enables us to reduce electricity consumption. Philips Lighting's solution creates an excellent mall experience both indoors and outdoors, making it more convenient for visitors to shop and spend time, "said Anderson Chong, Director of Mal Pluit Village.

At Pluit Village Mall, PLI replaces about 12,000 bulbs and LED lights for the entire 90,000 m2 mall area and the mall manages to save energy consumption up to 57%. While at Lippo Mall Puri, PLI replaces more than 10,000 LED tube lamps in the parking area, which helps reduce energy consumption by 64%.

Although proven to be more efficient, but the level of lighting in the two malls is not necessarily reduced. Conversely lighting the lights are getting brighter, making public areas such as parking lots safer and making drivers easier to maneuver.

Visitors to the mall, also feel a new impression of the lighting changes. "Since the mall lights have been replaced with Philips LED lamps, the mall has become better, brighter and we feel more comfortable," said Juwita, a regular housewife.

Over the past three years, PLI has been working with Lippo Group for LED lighting replacement projects at some of the company's most prominent properties spread throughout Indonesia, including Matahari Department Store and Siloam Hospital.
