Time will be short to tell the full story of this great woman who raised great men for God from the embassy of God called home. This woman is Susanna Wesley. Out of 19 children 8 survived among whom are Charles and John Wesley who are Kingdom giants that have gone to rest. Her secret was to employ the power of home to raise giants that did great exploits in their generation. Methodist is still the foot print John Wesley left behind and the hymns have the foot prints of Charles Wesley. The Kingdom can never forget these giants because a woman rediscovers the power of home! What will your children become? A problem or an asset? Many things home ought to give to a child to maximize his potentials on earth.

A safe environment;

An environment of love, acceptance that allows expression and correction. No defile materials like pornographic film should be allowed in the house. The kind of books that is to be read, dresses to be worn and all others must be safe for the Children. The man is the gate that screens and checks what comes into that house. You must be the custom officer to the border of your house. Songs and films influence children and youths a lot. The family must watch these. Not only limit their time but also control the kinds. Indiscipline is on the high side in the community because it is missing in the homes. Many like play than serious mental task unlike the olden days. Youths of nowadays can spend all the days on social media than doing serious mental task. Tame your home so that you can have a future. The years ahead will get tougher and competitive, prepare your children to live in the highly competitive world that lies ahead else they get dumped by the way!

Also, the environment of godly examples. What you do will unconsciously influence your children. If your children cannot do what you do and end well, you are about to lose the future! The prerequisite of a father is to be an image of God in character, responsibilities etc. If you are drinking, beating your wife etc, you might find your home in mess as your children automatically becomes what you do.

An atmosphere of God’s presence through prayer, study of the word, worship; this is the beginning of Kingdom education which God intended for the earth. Your children will speak faith language if they have been schooled in the word; this is kingdom education which is seeing life from God’s perspective. Whether you like it or not, people keep gathering different kinds of philosophy about life as they grow. If you give your children Kingdom education, they will end up as Kingdom giants early in life! They must learn the Holy Spirit by example in your own house. Susana Wesley used home Kingdom education to build her Children. Every day, there was morning devotion and every Sunday evening; there was bible study which later grew to a congregation of over 200 people. The formal education will not make your children all you want them to be.

An atmosphere of personal attention. This is very important for children’s growth. It was said of Susanna Wesley while her husband Samuel neglected her with the children that she created time for personal discussion with a child per day. The results speak today!

Atmosphere of encouragement and motivation. Give your children a vision from your house and encourage them to do great things. Their risks should be covered under your supervision and protection.

Atmosphere of security. Give godly identity to your children; let them know they are created unique. This is the beginning of security. Let them know that their place in life and in your heart cannot be taken by anyone else. Many groam through life looking for security which is a product of home failure!
