Gory Halloween Makeup

Recently I haven't been able to get out much to take photos and I remembered Halloween is coming up. I decided something fun I could experiment with is more of the gore side of makeup because that's more interesting to me than the other kinds. I have old makeup mostly from gifts and unused/unwanted stuff from my sister and basicly just created what I felt like was gross and kind of realistic. However, I'm just having fun so it's not that realistic. Quite a few bits of makeup have glitter in, so it doesn't add much to the realism and I'm not going to purchase stuff when I could use stuff around the house for free. So here are some photos of what I have done.

This one was meant to look like plastic caught in my arm. For the skin I used pva glue (not the best I know) and tissue with eyeshadow and lipstick for the pigments and blood.

This one was done on my sister and you can see the obvious lines of where the tissue is and don't forget the glittery blood!

For the next one I decided to make an almost flesh like putty to use as flesh and make the wound look a lot older and gooey so it's kind of icky.

For this one other than the obvious shiny glean to it I think the red around the brown was the wrong idea and definitely would have worked out better with yellow as my sister pointed out.

That is all for now I am wanting to do a few more and maybe show how to do it but keep on forgetting to take step by step photos.
