SLC-S21W5 | Day Makeup

Greetings teachers and students!

The past few weeks have been all about learning and practicing here in steemit and it has been a wonderful experience, for the past 4 weeks i have learned step by step on how to apply makeup on my skin correctly so in this 5th week i will show how mush i have understood the 4 weeks practicals.

💄 Show step by step the shading on your eyes using the “Cut Crease” technique; tell us if you have done it before and if the process was difficult for you.

I applied a light base shadow all over my eyelids, then i applied a darker matte colour on the crease, i then used a lighter shade as my highlights ranging from the middle of my eyelids to the lashes line. I used a slightly damp brush to apply my eye shadow it make the eyeshadow appear more bright and make the makeup look more layered.

Useing an angle eyeliner i finally defined my lashes line in a dark color to shape the eye.
I moved over to the brows to blend everything i did my eyebrows and eyelid first before applying the foundation reasons is because it is easier to correct mistake if anything during the eyebrow and eyelid creasing.

The first time i tried this process was during the week3 practical week3 it was difficult since i have not done it before but on this week practical it was not so new to me though i took alot of time adjusting and correcting.

💄 Finish your makeup by adding everything seen previously in class, such as applying foundation, lipstick, contouring, and correcting imperfections; the main objective of this assessment is to achieve smooth, shine-free skin.

I had already prepared my skin for i added foundation to some corners of my face then i buffed some foundation into my wet buffing spong before i start dap it in a uniform way blending down to my neck and ears.

After applying the foundation i highlighted the area i feel was a bit too dull like my under eyes my forehead and under the lip area, then i blend after blending perfectly using a powder brush i buff a powder on my face for a finish look.

I glide my lip liner along the line of my natural lips starting halfway between my cupid's bow and the corner of my mouth i traced back and forth along the top of my lip to create a defined line then gradually i blend the liner towards the center of my lips before adding a nude lipstick.

💄Find out what are the recommendations for a makeup that lasts even on hot days or when you do a lot of physical activity; also, the function that loose powder has to give a better finish to our skin.

How we prepare our skin before starting the makeup matters alot that is the number one key to long lasting makeup,

Another this is primer using a good quality primer that particularly design for your skin type will help the makeup last long, lightweight foundation are also great choice for a long lasting makeup.

Loose powdercan be used to set any makeup look in place and can be used as part of the bakin method in setting the foundation and concealer for all-day wear,Loose setting powder is another great option for shine control and naturally mattifies the skin to create a soft-focus flawless finish that help set liquid makeup, mattify shine, and blur the appearance of skin texture.
